The Data Speech Team is committed to the research and development of core AI technologies and product innovation related to speech, audio, and music. The department supports the entire process of audio and multimodal content from production and editing to consumption, empowers content creation and interaction, and provides support for multiple businesses of the group in the form of a middle office, offering cutting-edge technical capabilities and solutions in the industry.

Responsibilities
1. Undertake the research and development of service architecture for ByteDance's speech AI products; quickly build AI speech-related platform applications and backend service pipelines, and continuously optimize service experience and stability.
2. Implement and apply speech and multimodal dialogue technology frameworks based on large models to practical business scenarios.
3. Continuously explore the use of AI capabilities to enhance product experience and improve engineering efficiency across various scenarios.
4. Provide advanced speech capabilities for ByteDance's related products, empower businesses such as Douyin, TikTok, JianYing and CapCut, as well as AI products like Doubao and Cici, and influence hundreds of millions of users through AI technology.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
2. Proficient in at least one programming language (Golang/C++/Python/Java).
3. Experience in large scale databases including both SQL and NoSQL.
4. Knowledge of Linux/Networks administration and troubleshooting.
5. Solid knowledge of distributed systems, algorithms, and networks.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Track record in ACM/NOI/IOI/TopCoder.
2. Project experience in AI fields such as Speech, Computer Vision, and NLP.
3. Development experience in large-scale online businesses with distributed, large-scale, high-concurrency, and high-traffic characteristics; experience in system tuning and performance improvement is a plus.
4. Experience in microservices architecture development, as well as frontend or full-stack development experience.
