Responsibilities

Team Introduction
The Global Product & RD team is building up core TikTok products to ensure TikTok deliver the best product experience to all of our users, build the most attractive features to help users enjoy their time on TikTok, earn trust in privacy protection, and more.
The Global Product team is growing exponentially. The business lines are ranging from Monetization Technology, Data, Machine Learning, System, Infrastructure, AR Effects, Security Technology and more.

Responsibilities
- Understand users' social needs on short video platforms and explore new social interaction features
- Lead the design and implementation of related social functions
- Set measurable goals and collaborate with design, algorithms, and other teams to accelerate social business growth

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in internet social/community/creative tools products
- Strong passion and curiosity for social products; enthusiastic about exploring new products
- Excellent empathy, strong self-motivation, rigorous logical thinking, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to solve complex problems
- Data-sensitive, with some data analysis skills, and the ability to interpret the meaning and value behind the data

Preferred Qualifications
- Working experience in direct messaging or creator experience

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $149040 - $311600 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
