About the Team:
The Short Drama Team is dedicated to curating, producing, and localizing high-quality short dramas for TikTok.

Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end short drama project lifecycle - from project greenlighting, pre-production planning, production process oversight, progress tracking, on-set supervision to final content launch. Independently manage the full production pipeline, spanning IP acquisition, script development and live-action shooting.
- Own cost budgeting and payment workflow management. Strategically allocate production resources within set budget limits to deliver high-quality short drama content that meets all stakeholder requirements and performance benchmarks.
- Leverage solid knowledge of the U.S. and Brazilian short drama industry landscapes. Efficiently integrate third-party production vendor resources and serve as the key liaison between external production partners and internal cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational, communication and cross-team collaboration skills, paired with proven project management expertise. Thrive in fast-paced environments by developing targeted solutions to complex challenges quickly.
- Bring a deep understanding of short drama creative frameworks and audience preferences. Maintain sharp insights into industry CP dynamics, operational models, content trends and market shifts.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s):
- Bachelor's degree or higher; proven background in film/TV production, with hands-on experience delivering at least 2 full-cycle U.S. domestic short drama projects from conception to completion.
- Possess superior verbal and written communication skills, with strong organizational, management and cross-project coordination capabilities. Excel at partnership development and end-to-end project oversight.
- Highly structured, results-driven and solution-focused professional with clear critical thinking skills and a keen sense of cost optimization.
- Passionate about content creation with strong content judgment. Well-versed in Western pop culture and cultural taboos, plus a deep understanding of the short drama ecosystem and evolving trends. Familiar with the core tropes and standout elements of both English and Chinese short dramas, with extensive viewing experience and unique perspectives on short-form content.
- A diligent, reliable and accountable team player with strong self-motivation and a proactive work attitude.
- Professional fluency in English, with the ability to use it as a primary working language.

Preferred Qualification(s):
- Candidates with existing short drama production networks are highly preferred.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $83600 - $192534 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
