Senior Software Development Engineer - Global E-commerce

What You'll Do:
- Build GenAI applications with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini), prompt engineering, RAG (Pinecone/FAISS), and orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex, MCP)
- Perform parameter-efficient fine-tuning (LoRa, QLoRa) and integrate AI into production systems
- Follow Responsible AI practices, including bias mitigation and compliance
- Architect and implement software solutions to enhance engineering productivity, including development tools, automation platforms, and distributed data management systems.
- Lead development of mission-critical distributed systems with focus on availability, scalability, and operational excellence in cloud-native environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver technical solutions through full lifecycle management - from concept design to production deployment and support.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field from accredited institutions.
- 5+ years experience building enterprise-grade software systems at scale.
- Expert proficiency in distributed system architecture design and modern cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure etc).
- Strong programming skills with mastery of multiple languages (Go/Python/Java/C++).
- Deep understanding of full-stack development patterns and cloud based software architectures.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multi-modal AI and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Familiarity with AI monitoring, observability, and cost optimization
- Experience developing infrastructure-level platforms and software development frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven approach and systems thinking.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $187040 - $359720 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
