About the Team
The TikTok User Privacy & Responsibility Product division ensures that TikTok meets privacy, responsibility, and regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional user experiences for creating, consuming, and enjoying content on TikTok.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision and roadmap for compliance-related user-facing features.
- Lead global product compliance initiatives, translating new and emerging laws into scalable product solutions for TikTok users.
- Own and define features; collaborate with UX design, engineering, legal, policy, and Trust & Safety teams to deliver impactful features.
- Identify regulatory trends and proactively incorporate them into product strategy.
- Own the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring solid user experience and compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software product management, preferably in consumer-facing products.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration experience with Legal, Policy, and Trust & Safety teams, translating requirements into product solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Track record of defining and launching features in response to new legislation or regulatory requirements.
- Experience defining and launching features that resulted in both solid user experience and compliance in a B2C social media / short-form content context.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $165120 - $311600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
