About the Team
The Safety Product (or Platform Responsibility)team is at the forefront of building and optimizing content safety systems. With a focus on optimising and advancing content safety, we leverage advanced large language models to enhance review efficiency, risk control, and user trust. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, we deliver scalable solutions that keep pace with rapid global growth.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for product strategy of TikTok comment safety and creator experience, collaborating with global cross-functional teams to conduct product roadmap planning, product strategy analysis, product requirements design, and product project management.
- Pay attention to the comment safety ecosystem in a data-driven manner, optimize the comment safety metrics system, locate core issues based on user community interaction data analysis, and promote solutions to achieve significant results and improve users' comment safety experience.
- Gain insight into the awareness of different user roles in comment scenarios and global industry trends, and continuously collaborate with the market and research teams to conduct industry competitor analysis, public safety perception research, and user experience insights, and continuously explore the gap between the current situation and the ideal state, create an industry-leading comment ecosystem.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 3+ years of product management experience in Consumer-Facing mobile or web Internet companies and launching complex features or scenarios
- Strong project management and communication skills, able to manage multiple stakeholders in different timezones and influence global cross-functional teams
- Proven experience designing product solutions based on evidence and expert in utilizing data and research to analyze product designs
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and user research methodologies;

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $165120 - $414000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
