Senior Financial Analyst, Business Finance Operation - USDS
Responsibilities
Team Intro:
The Payment team of U.S. Data Security department of TikTok provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on - to ensure that users have a smooth and secure payment experience on TikTok platform.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the clearing & settlement, reconciliation, and monthly closing for channels and merchants within E2E payment scenarios; ensure all fund operations are completed accurately and in a timely manner according to requirements
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of bank and payment channel settlement rules; independently analyze and resolve discrepancies or exceptions in the clearing and settlement process
- Act as the business owner and collaborate with Product and R&D teams to define business requirement documents (BRD) and support product roadmaps
- Conduct business-side testing and data validation for new features/tools; collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous system enhancements and optimizations
- Analyze and deconstruct complex operational challenges to establish standardized workflows, develop comprehensive operational manuals, and maintain comprehensive process documentation
- Collaborate with external business partners to resolve reconciliation discrepancies and facilitate settlement fundings
- Provide support for a variety of Pay and Treasury-related tasks and ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- Experience with e-commerce payments preferred
- 3+ Years of relevant experience in clearing and settlement operations within multinational corporations or financial institutions, preferably with accounting automation development
- Ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively with a diverse set of internal teams as well as external business partners
- Aptitude to organize and track multiple projects and workflows simultaneously
- Results-oriented, dependable individual who will enjoy the challenge of a rapidly evolving global organization

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $96000 - $215967 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
