About the team
Our Search Operations team focuses on providing operational support for TikTok's search optimization, user demands and search quality. Our Search Quality Assurance have deep knowledge of data labelling, search strategies optimizations platforms and provide policy guidelines to the search specialist.
To eliminate any doubt, this role involves reading, viewing, listening and examining user-generated content to ensure they comply with community guidelines.
Content includes images, video, text related to every day life, but they can also include (but are not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.

Responsibilities
1. Working in the Quality Assurance team to ensure key data delivery targets (e. g. productivity, efficiency, quality, latency) are met for projects under Search Recommendation.
2. Responsible for policy/guideline and SOP implementation and clarification to ensure better understanding and performance of moderation.
3. Work closely with POC and other stakeholders in order to provide feedback on data quality/SOP/policy/guideline and ensure the overall success of the project.
4. Support training and go-live processes within the Search Recommendation team.
5. Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
6. Willing to work on shifts, which include weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
2. Strong understanding of QA in content moderation projects.
3. Excellent verbal and written skills in Urdu, Pashto, and Punjabi since the role will oversee Pakistan market.
4. Proficient in English.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Good knowledge of search engines and familiarity with social media platforms.
2. Candidates with knowledge of search trending related businesses are preferred.
3. Good communication skills and experience in cross-team collaboration.
4. Knowledge and familiarity with RCA methodology are preferred.
5. Willing to work on sensitive issues that include child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, and adult & sexual content.
6. An in-depth understanding of the market's culture and familiarity with the Internet usage habits of market's users.
7. Familiar with common office software. Labeling experience is preferred.
8. Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
9. Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
