Our quality assurance engineering team is responsible for keeping an e-commerce ecosystem stable, secure, and intuitive for our users. What You'll Do:
- Build the Global E-commerce QA System and US QA Team: Lead the creation and development of a comprehensive quality assurance system for global E-commerce, and establish the QA team in the US, including Quality Assurance Engineers (QA Engineer) and Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET).

- Hands-On Involvement: Have a deep understanding of business logic and system architecture. Actively participate in test execution for various projects, mastering testing processes, testing techniques, and tools. Provide guidance to new team members for a quick ramp-up.
- Project Delivery and Management: Oversee quality management throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and implement test plans and strategies, identify and mitigate risks, standardize project processes, and manage and review defects.
- Team Building: Recruit team members, set team goals, and coach team members. Document and share best practices and methodologies.
- Quality System Construction: Identify critical quality risks and efficiency bottlenecks. Research and implement effective solutions to enhance system quality.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Establish efficient and trusting relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth cooperation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited and reputable institution.
- 2+ years of experience managing a QA team.
- Proven expertise in project quality management, with a strong background in testing technology and sound technical judgment.
- Demonstrated success in team coaching and developing effective methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in e-commerce or tech industry.
- Highly self-motivated with a quick learning ability.
- Exceptional skills in collaborating and communicating with multinational and cross-functional teams.
- Strong ability to manage concurrent tasks and deliver efficient work output.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $190000 - $266000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
