About the Team
With a commitment to excellence, innovation, and safety, we are seeking an experienced Security Lead, reporting to the Head of Protective Services, Criminal Investigations, and TSCM.

Responsibilities
1. Security Operations:
- Manage contractor team(s) of close protection security professionals for a range of diverse potential assignments at offices, residences, and/or special events.
- Tactical expertise in responding to exigent threats or emergencies (e.g., workplace violence).
- Oversee security vendor relationships to ensure effectiveness and cost-efficiency.
- Oversee operational performance of contractors and, as we continue to grow, employees.
- Update and follow security policies, procedures, checklists, post orders, and protocols.
- Have working knowledge of TSCM equipment and best practices at offices, special events venues, and/or datacenters.

2. Criminal Investigations:
- Lead and coordinate criminal investigations, including workplace crimes and/or criminal threats, etc.
- Work with law enforcement agencies, legal counsel, and other cross functional teams as necessary.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards and legal compliance.

3. Threat Assessments and Risk Management:
- Conduct physical threat assessments to identify potential risks to personnel, offices, or special events.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies, threat response plans, and crisis management plans.

- Monitor emerging security trends, ongoing security threats, and adapt strategies accordingly.

4. Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver security training requirements to employees and contractors.
- Promote a culture of security awareness and vigilance across the organization.

5. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage your team's annual budget and headcount, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in corporate security or third party vendors, law enforcement, or a related field.
- Prior strong track record of creating, implementing, scaling, and leading protective services and investigations programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with RFPs, contracts, vendor management, purchase requisitioning, invoicing, QBRs.
- Proven track record of hiring employees and contractors; leading security teams; and managing investigations along with Strong knowledge of security best practices and industry standards.
- Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions under pressure and work cross-collaboratively (e.g., with Legal, HR, Communications) in a large enterprise.
- Professional certifications such as CPP, CFE, a plus.
-Former military and/or law enforcement experience, a plus.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $99983 - $183709 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
