Project Manager - AI Data Service Operation (Safety Model Operations)

About the Team
The AI Data Service and Operations (ADSO) team is responsible for providing safety and non-safety data annotation services and search operation services for all of the company's international products, which can also help international products build their own data ecological security.

The Safety Model Operations [SMO] team within ADSO is responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining machine learning models and operational processes that support TikTok's Trust & Safety systems. We ensure that automated safety models perform effectively in identifying harmful content, mitigating risks, and maintaining a safe user environment across regions.

What will I do?
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end development and training of an AI model and driving operational efficiency and quality. In ensuring the goals of the project are achieved, you need to continuously optimize project processes and improve the efficiency of project implementation through analysis of business conditions and regularly communicate with cross-functional and regional teams.

It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.

Responsibilities
1. Manage the end-to-end operations of labeling projects and uphold efficiency and quality by preparing and monitoring key project metrics
2. Leverage business platforms and other tools to effectively monitor and analyze project progress to ensure successful delivery
3. Drive the analysis of project data to facilitate data-driven decisions
4. Prepare regular project updates to communicate essential milestones and tasks to and improve the overall project experience in the business domain
5. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and regional teams to drive project progress

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above
2. Proven project management (end to end) skills/experience along with strong coordination, collaborative, and time management
3. Excellent data analysis skills
4. Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English
5. Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role
6. Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role

Preferred Qualifications
1. Regional/Global cross functional stakeholders experience preferred
2. Strong learner who can grasp business knowledge and model training processes efficiently
3. Strong interest in social content products and a knack/eye for social trends
4. Previous experience in Social Media/Internet/Technology industry preferred
