Platform Senior Product Manager-PGC Focus

The PGC (Professionally Generated Content) team at TikTok is dedicated to driving the growth and evolution of a professional, high-quality content ecosystem. We are dedicated to creating a global platform that fosters knowledge/education ecosystem, learner engagement, and a vibrant educational community. Our goal is to be the primary destination for knowledge seekers worldwide. We categorize our content into various tracks such as Business & Finance, Humanities, and Technology, all focused on delivering high-quality educational content.

- Own the roadmap and iteration of the TikTok internal platform, delivering efficient and user-friendly tools that improve creator management workflows.
- Work closely with operations teams to deeply understand user scenarios, identify pain points, and design optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and other cross-functional partners to drive requirement implementation and on-time delivery.
- After feature launch, work with operations and data analysts to increase adoption, collect feedback, and continuously optimize the platform.
- Drive improvements in platform usability and satisfaction aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s):
- Fluent in English; must be able to collaborate directly with cross-functional teams based in the US and China.
- 1-2+ years of product management experience in internal tools, with proven ownership of a full product or major product module.
- Strong abstraction skills, self-motivation, and ability to independently drive complex projects.

Preferred Qualification(s):
- Goal-oriented, resilient, and capable of coordinating multiple teams to push requirements to delivery.
- Strong understanding of operational workflows and the ability to adapt product solutions based on evolving business needs.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $149040 - $311600 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
