Performance & Incentives Business Partner - TikTok USDS JV - Los Angeles
Responsibilities
At USDS JV, the HR Performance and Incentives team is responsible for managing the organizational function of performance and rewards, a critical activity essential to attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent. This includes the end-to-end design, implementation, and continuous improvement of performance management mechanisms that align individual and team goals with the company's strategic mission. The team oversees the development and administration of compensation and incentives policies to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity, supporting workforce engagement and productivity. They deeply dive into market research, analyzing data, and benchmarking. Given the nature of the team, the Performance and Incentives team regularly collaborates and communicates with the HRBP team, HR Operations team, Talent Acquisition team, the Business Leaders and Executive team.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and evolution of the Total Rewards framework, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy;
- Manage the end-to-end execution of the company's bi-annual cycles, including performance review, job level, and compensation/incentive review.
- Drive the design and review of the compensation total packages to align with business strategy while ensure external competitiveness and internal equity;
- Establish and standardize P&I guidelines and SOPs to provide a scalable foundation for the company's growth.
- Leverage deep business acumen to conduct rigorous research and analysis on incentive effectiveness, providing data-driven recommendations for strategy optimization.
- Act as a trusted partner to business and HR leadership, leveraging deep C&B and performance management expertise to influence critical decision-making.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Total Rewards, compensation design, and performance management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to independently drive complex projects (e.g., bi-annual cycles, job leveling) and manage the accompanying change management process.
- Advanced data analytics skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable compensation insights and strategies.
- Strong capability in framework design and structured problem-solving, with experience building SOPs from scratch.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to act as a strategic partner and build trust with business leaders and HR partners.
- Deep understanding of the underlying logic of technology or internet business models and how it translates into effective incentive strategies.
- Experience in conducting incentive effectiveness research and analysis on compensation programs.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $97470 - $216600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
