About Our Team
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science. GBS is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and ambitious client group, and our HRBPs who support them are too! We are excited to continue adding to our Human Resources team to attract, engage, and retain top talent to drive the continued growth of the organization.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analyses using internal data as well as external primary and secondary sources to uncover key value drivers and identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with monetization teams, sales and sales operations, international strategy, and data teams to bring analytical and strategic initiatives to completion

- Support optimization of business processes and policies to support the team's growth and improve operational efficiency
- Support key projects and initiatives in collaboration with teams within AUNZ and across APAC
- Develop dashboards and support overall business operations through providing data analytics insights and performance tracking solutions
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s)
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master
- Demonstrate a strong analytical and quantitative aptitude, strong experience in excel modeling, and a keen interest in strategy
- Demonstrate solid project management skillset: handling and juggling multiple processes at once across different topics, functions and stakeholders
- Demonstrate high-EQ team player capability and the ability to manage tough, sensitive and confidential conversations with stakeholders
- Exhibit excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and structure complex issues to derive insights
- Possess a self-starter attitude: ability to initiate and drive complex analysis to completion with minimal guidance, while synthesizing and communicating insights effectively
- Exhibit strong motivation to work hard and efficiently in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment
Preferred Qualification(s)
- Have experience in sales strategy, growth strategy, sales finance, product strategy, consulting, investment banking, or related analytical roles.
- Prior experience in consulting, investment banking, and private equity is preferred
- Possess knowledge of SQL programming, Python and statistical modeling
- Have experience in BI visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker
