Marketing Procurement Manager, AMS
Responsibilities
Team Introduction
The Marketing and Consultancy Procurement team facilitates multi-million dollar annual purchases across a variety of marketing categories. Our mission is to enhance the business units' competitive edge by providing excellent "visible, controllable, and deliverable" procurement practices & solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Regional (and Global) Marketing teams to develop sourcing strategy and execution plans for multiple sub-categories, including Media buying, Creative & Video Production, Social and PR communication, Events, Market Research.
- This role will focus heavily on the market research category, supporting business divisions on complex negotiation strategies with market leading suppliers such as Nielsen, Kantar and the like.
- Collaborate with global and regional procurement teams to drive improvements and innovations for projects such as supplier management, sourcing process optimization, and purchasing efficiency.
- Manage P2P procurement process management including purchase request consolidation, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and PO management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve work efficiency, build accountability and provide timely resolution of issues.
- Lead and manage key internal and external procurement partnerships.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of marketing-related procurement experience is mandatory, through which you demonstrated the ability to: develop sourcing strategies, lead commercial tactics such as negotiation and competitive bidding, manage supplier agency relationships, influence leadership/peers to drive business value.
- Strong knowledge of the market research category is critical, particularly experience in working across large scale negotiations with leading suppliers.
- Knowledge and experience in managing a variety of marketing agencies, and understanding the dynamics of how agency models operate.
- Detailed oriented, self-motivated, ability to navigate complex situations, having a can-do attitude with a propensity toward acting with a sense of urgency & responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Problem-solving and independent thinking with a solution-orientated mind.
- Data-driven with strong quantitative analysis skills.
- Would also consider individuals coming from marketing agencies, who want to build a career in Procurement.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $79200 - $171000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
