Machine Learning Engineer, XR/VR Device - USDS

Responsibilities

XR/VR Interactive Perception Team focuses on advancing the perception and interaction capabilities of XR's (MR/AR) devices. The team continuously explores cutting-edge areas such as human-computer interaction, 3D spatial perception, high-precision 3D face recognition, and human body understanding. By developing technologies in perception and reconstruction, environmental awareness, and 3D scene reconstruction and generation, we aim to empower users with more natural, intuitive, and immersive interaction experiences-enabling them to perceive reality, engage with reality, and transcend reality. Our work drives the evolution of spatial intelligent computing platforms into a new era of user experience.

We are the Engineering Architecture team of the XR/VR Interactive Perception R&D Department. We are responsible for the architecture design and engineering implementation in the Interactive Perception Department. We focus on exploring the low-power consumption deployment of AI models, strive for excellence and aim to become an international team with leading technology.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the integrated development services of the XR/VR algorithm, participates in the architecture design optimization of XR device system applications, and promotes the continuous construction of the technical system/R&D standards;
- Responsible for the compilation and build integration of the XR/VR core system, assist in optimizing the software compilation process, and ensure version control and build consistency
- Participate in the design and optimization iteration of business system architecture to ensure high concurrency and high reliability;
- Participate in software compliance assessment, design and implement a software compliance framework that meets both domestic and international markets
- Understand business needs, and complete the design and development of server-related functions;

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Have solid Android application development experience, proficient in C++/Python is needed.
- Have excellent architecture design capabilities, understands the Android system framework, and has a clear understanding of the principles of core system features;
- Demonstrates outstanding self-motivation and learning ability, possesses excellent communication and expression skills, and has a product mindset capable of implementing technical solutions in business scenarios;

Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Java/Kotlin programming languages is a plus;
- Experience in AI edge application development is preferred;
- Experience in XR device, operating system, or SDK development is preferred.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $136800 - $359720 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
