Our Public Policy and Government Relations (PPGR) team plays a vital role in in aligning business development needs with regulations established by the government. We are currently seeking a Regulatory and Advocacy to join our team to drive strategic initiatives that enhance our influence and thought leadership in e-commerce policy making.

Responsibilities
1. Regulatory Insights and Guidance
Analyze and monitor emerging e-commerce regulatory trends, providing leadership with strategic insights and assessments of their potential impacts on the organization.

2. Stakeholder Engagement
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key e-commerce external stakeholders, covering government officials and industry leaders, to strengthen the organization's position in regulatory discussions and enhance its influence.

3. Risk Management
Assess complex regulatory landscapes related to e-commerce, and evaluate potential implications for the organization.

4. Cross-Functional Advocacy Coordination
Oversee and coordinate advocacy efforts across internal teams, including Legal and Comms, to ensure a cohesive and aligned approach to EC regulatory matters.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in public policy, government relations, or regulatory affairs, with a focus on e-commerce.
- Bachelor's degree in Legal, Political Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Strong understanding of tech issues and regulatory landscape in Indonesia.
- Proven successful track record in advocating issues within the technology sector and a well-established network within relevant regulators.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess regulatory frameworks and provide operational guidance.
- Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia as this role will need to liaise with both local & global stakeholders
