HR Business Partner - Trust & Safety - London (Fixed-Term Contract)

Responsibilities

About the Team:
Trust & Safety teams operate at the intersection of technology, policy, and human judgment-protecting our community while scaling rapidly across global markets. This HRBP role requires balancing empathy for high-pressure operational teams with strategic business partnership to senior leaders navigating complex, fast-moving challenges. This is a full-time, 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC).

Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders to translate overarching business strategy and transformation priorities into actionable people and organizational plans.
- Org Design & Change Management: Lead workforce planning, restructuring, and organizational design initiatives, guiding teams through complex periods of scaling, consolidation, and change.
- Leadership Coaching: Advise leaders on comprehensive talent strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, and building high-performing teams.
- Data-Driven Insights: Develop and leverage HR dashboards and metrics to generate actionable insights, guide strategic decision-making, and drive retention and engagement.
- Performance Management: Champion the talent development cycle by driving goal setting, continuous feedback, and calibration discussions to ensure fair, consistent outcomes.
- DEI Advocacy: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, actively partnering with leadership to support the advancement of diverse talent.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and high engagement across all teams and stakeholders.
- Work Model: 5 days/week in-office.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in Human Resources with 3+ years as an HR Business Partner.
- HR Expertise: Corporate background spanning employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and core HR operations.
- Resilience & Agility: Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous, constantly changing environments with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Global Collaboration: Experience partnering with regional and international stakeholders to drive cross-border initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Client Group Expertise: Experience supporting Trust & Safety, compliance, or operations teams within fast-paced, high-pressure tech environments.
- EMEA & Global HR: Extensive multi-geography HR experience, with deep knowledge of EMEA employment laws and cultural nuances.
- Change Management: Proven track record of leading organizations through complex transitions (scaling, restructuring, mass hiring, and strategic reductions).
- Data-Driven Strategy: Proficiency in data tools (Tableau, Excel, Power BI) to extract insights, build business cases, and drive decision-making.
- Builder Mindset: Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to build people programs from scratch, seamlessly flexing between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
- Advanced Communication: Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, including a high comfort level with candid feedback and difficult conversations.
