Global Senior Partnerships Counsel
Responsibilities
Our Global Monetization Legal team supports TikTok's innovative and state-of-the-art advertising products, including the partnerships with global and regional technology providers. We're growing fast and seeking a highly experienced, bright, and capable attorney with substantial tech transactions experience, ideally with ad tech expertise. This is an opportunity to lead strategic partnership deals that have a massive, global impact. Partners include: measurement partners that provide independent reporting on TikTok as an advertising platform, CRM partners, partners that provide unique capabilities such as privacy-enhancing technologies, commerce partners, partners that drive organic engagement on TikTok, and partners that ensure robust marketing data.
- Drive strategic deals with partners from inception to completion
- Draft contracts and lead live negotiations representing TikTok
- Provide legal assessment and options on contractual and product issues to business teams, to enable and facilitate decision-making
- Identify and explain key legal issues in deals that often revolve around ad tech, regulatory compliance, data flows and custodianship, and privacy
- Manage collaborations with a wide range of internal business and legal stakeholders
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- JD from an ABA accredited law school with membership in good standing in a US State Bar
- Deep experience in drafting and negotiating complex, high-stakes tech transactions or deep ad tech product counseling experience
- Excellent communicator and negotiator
- Comfortable tracking, prioritizing, and managing numerous detailed tasks and projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in private practice with a highly regarded firm handling a high volume of tech transactions and/or relevant in-house experience
- In-house ad tech, data, privacy experience
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $213000 - $376200 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
