Responsibilities:
- Support on global operational and technical aspects of mobility tax matters, such as international assignments, permanent transfers, alternative work arrangements, compensation reporting, and frequent business travel taxation;
- Engage with service providers as well as cross-functional stakeholders, including but not limited to global mobility, immigration, payroll, talent mobility, benefits, and accounting, on day-to-day global mobility tax matters;
- Oversee the calculation of gross ups for benefits in kind, allowances and other compensation items relating to international assignees and permanent transfers into the US;
- Advise on the implications of international mobility on equity reporting and sourcing;
- Providing guidance on home and host country comparative tax analyses and planning strategies;
- First point of contact for day-to-day employee questions related to US mobility;
- Oversees social security certificate compliance in particular identifying and obtaining certificates of coverage (CoCs) where applicable.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Significant experience as a global mobility tax specialist in-house, at an advisory firm or a government/state agency;
- Experience managing/operating a China to US mobility tax programme;
- Advantageous to have 5+ years of mobility tax experience;
- Experience in international social security, assignment management, or global mobility tax;
- In-depth knowledge of employment and expatriate tax and social security compliance;
- In-depth understanding of equity in the context of internationally mobile employees.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $91440 - $220400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
