Responsibilities
Our Global Monetization Product and Technology Legal team supports TikTok's innovative and state-of-the-art global advertising products and platforms, including counseling product teams on a range of product and go-to-market strategies and negotiating and managing the contracts with advertising partners including advertisers, publishers and select intermediaries. The business relies on global contract deals to help power its products and systems.
We're growing fast and seeking an experienced, bright, and technologically-capable attorney with adtech contracting and negotiation experience. This is an opportunity to drive global adtech and data-integration deals that have high visibility and global impact. Depending on the candidate's experience, this may also be an opportunity to lead strategic go-to-market workstreams for new adtech products, to manage key legal relationships with external partners, and to help facilitate growth in critical markets.

Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic adtech deals with advertisers, publishers and intermediaries, from inception to completion
- Evaluate and advise on contractual issues to business leaders, to enable and facilitate decisionmaking
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and build consensus where needed across regulatory, privacy, litigation, business and product teams
- Project manage collaborations across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Draft contracts, lead live negotiations representing TikTok, and drive completion of contractual goals set by business teams
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA accredited law school with membership in good standing in a US State Bar.
- Notable experience in drafting and negotiating adtech transactions, or notable adtech product counseling experience with a desire to become skilled at adtech contract negotiations.
- Excellent communicator, negotiator and team player.
- Comfortable tracking, prioritizing, and managing numerous detailed tasks and projects and working across global time-zones
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in private practice with a highly regarded firm handling a high volume of adtech transactions
- In-house experience handling transactions of the types listed at "About the team" above
- Notable adtech privacy experience
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $133000 - $303240 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
