Global E-Commerce Team is a content E-commerce business with international short video products as the carrier. It is committed to becoming the first choice for users to discover and purchase good products at affordable prices. The global E-commerce business team hopes to provide users with a more tailored and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live E-commerce, and short video content E-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.

Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable and reusable web applications that support complex E-commerce products and business workflows.
- Build reliable and user-friendly product experiences with strong attention to performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate product requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
- Design and optimize application architecture, APIs, services, and data flows to improve scalability, reliability, and engineering efficiency.
- Build or integrate AI-powered product experiences, such as intelligent assistance, personalized modules, or productivity-enhancing workflows.
- Leverage AI-assisted development workflows to improve code quality, testing, debugging, and development efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, and at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.

- Understanding of fundamental software engineering concepts, including data structures, algorithms, asynchronous programming, object-oriented design, testing, and debugging.
- Basic knowledge of backend development and web application architecture, including APIs, databases, client-server communication, and common multi-tier architectures.
- Familiarity with standard software development practices, including version control, testing, and software development workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building and shipping fullstack applications, with the ability to contribute across multiple layers of the technology stack.
- Experience with backend frameworks, databases, cloud services, APIs, or frontend tooling and build systems.
- Demonstrated engineering judgment and product awareness, with the ability to consider factors such as performance, scalability, reliability, usability, and maintainability when making technical decisions.
- Experience building or integrating AI-powered features, or using LLMs and AI Agents to solve engineering or product problems; ability to evaluate, debug, and iteratively improve AI-generated outputs.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies, proactively identify problems, and drive solutions with limited guidance.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative, and globally distributed team environment.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $121600 - $243200 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
