The Marketing Events sits within the Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization. The team plays a pivotal role in orchestrating and executing diverse events. The team is focused on delivering engaging events that inspire clients, agencies and the industry.

About the role
We are looking for an Event Marketing Specialist to join our growing Marketing team and to help support our Events team. As an Event Marketing Specialist you will be tasked with building brand equity through event experiences, accelerating sales pipeline and promoting TikTok's culture and values. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for events and a hands-on approach.
The Event Marketing Specialist should have a love for special event management, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
• Plan and manage logistics for various events throughout Brazil;
• Assist in negotiations for contracted event space and catering;
• Provide weekly status updates to the Head of Events;
• Assist with managing on-site setup and breakdown of events as necessary;
• Prepare and modify event contracts as requested;
• Manage the inventory of all event supplies (swag, decorations, food, alcohol, and signage);
• Assist with the reconciliation and "close out" of all events;
• Conduct research, make site visits, and find resources to make decisions about event possibilities;
• Manage day-to-day communication with external vendors;
• Maintain annual events calendar and brainstorm ideas for new events/opportunities;
• Work with Head of Events to create/design event presentations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in event marketing and event production;
- Proven experience managing end-to-end event execution, from strategy and planning to onsite delivery and post-event measurement;
- Experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and tight deadlines;
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and external agencies;
- Experience managing event budgets, vendors, contracts, procurement, and production agencies;
- Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring event performance through business KPIs such as pipeline, revenue influence, attendance, engagement, or ROI.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading executive programs, customer marketing events, C-level experiences, or flagship conferences with 500+ attendees;
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing and media ecosystem;
- Ability to translate business objectives into impactful event experiences that drive measurable commercial outcomes;
- Experience using CRM, marketing automation, event technology platforms, and data dashboards to optimize event performance;
- Comfortable presenting event strategies to senior leadership and executive stakeholders;
- Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements, simplify operations, and scale event programs;
- Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, content, and field marketing.
