About this role
As an MBA Intern, you will work directly with the Cluster Director of E-commerce (TikTok Shop & Tokopedia Indonesia) for the Auto & Electronics category. This role offers hands-on exposure to high-impact strategic initiatives across one of the largest e-commerce ecosystems in Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Support development of strategy playbooks for sellers across different segments (principal brands, distributors, resellers, SMEs).
- Ai implementation in the overall Account manager and cluster team work flow, creating automation and agentic agent to be use and implemented
- Analyze seller P&L structures across industries to identify growth levers and profitability drivers.
- Drive initiatives to improve seller operations and overall platform performance.
- Evaluate product mix strategies between content commerce (TikTok) and traditional marketplace (Tokopedia).
- Assess online vs. offline channel dynamics, including pricing, distribution, and competitive positioning.
- Conduct research on brand/seller growth strategies, especially for regional expansion beyond Java and Jabodetabek.
- Provide insights on balancing online costs (content, ads, platform fees) with offline distribution efficiency, including spillover effects from online to offline sales.
- Bring a strong seller-centric perspective, understanding different business models and needs across the ecosystem.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Finance, Economics, Management, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI on a daily basis beyond basic prompting, including integrating AI tools and building AI agents.
- Proficient in analytical tools, with basic Excel proficiency and strong analytical and data-processing skills.
- Fluent in Business English as a working language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Able to independently perform data collection and collation, analyze trends, and develop clear, actionable reports.
- Previous professional work experience is a plus.
