Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the Global EHS Management System while ensuring compliance with Brazilian regulatory requirements and developing localized procedures and guidance.
- Act as the EHS subject matter expert, providing technical support to local and regional stakeholders, including HR, Admin, Real Estate, and Business Leaders.
- Ensure full compliance with Brazilian labor, occupational health, and safety legislation, including coordination with authorities as required.
- Oversee local health and safety committees (CIPA), Occupational Health Medical Control Program(PCMSO), and safety programs, ensuring legal and corporate requirements are met.
- Manage local occupational health services, including the company doctor, nurse, clinics, and employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Coordinate mental health, wellbeing, and employee assistance programs; support reasonable accommodation requests.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation, including risk assessments, inspections, audits, incident investigations, and employee training records.
- Lead crisis and emergency response efforts from EHS perspective to protect employee health, safety, and business continuity.
- Prepare and communicate regular EHS performance reports to leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to long-term EHS team development.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Certificate of completion of the Occupational Safety Technician course, issued by an institution recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education.
- Registered as an Occupational Safety Technician (Técnico de Segurança do Trabalho) with the Brazilian Ministry of Labor.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in occupational health and safety.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and remain effective in high-pressure or crisis situations.
- Working proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in multinational environments.
- Familiarity with construction safety and office safety standards in Brazil.
- Experience managing occupational health clinics and external health providers.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training programs.
- Strong data analytics skills, including the ability to analyze EHS metrics, identify trends, and generate insights for decision-making.
- Proficiency with digital tools for reporting, documentation, and analysis (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, audit/risk management platforms).
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian occupational health and safety regulations (NRs), including requirements for CIPA, PCMSO, PPRA, and emergency preparedness.
- Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and promoting a strong safety culture.
