Responsibilities

Team Introduction:
TikTok's Content Ecosystem team is responsible for the health and prosperity of content users and creators to improve DAU in the long term. Our team deeply dives into the following fields: tracking the whole content ecosystem and finding potential challenges and opportunities; cooperating closely with the RD team on model recognition, content understanding, and algorithms, targeting to balance the traffic in different formats, optimize traffic distribution, content diversifications, creator experience of moderation, user experience of interactions, and more problems.

Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. It runs for 12 weeks.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the governance of TikTok short videos or comment ecosystem, with a deep understanding of content, business data, and user needs, and the establishment of a governance evaluation framework.
- Analyze and identify new, complex, and high-impact content risks faced by the platform through a combination of qualitative analysis and data-driven methods, turning ambiguous signals into clear problem statements and measurable goals.
- Explore and apply large language models (LLMs) and other AI techniques to enhance content understanding and risk identification, and translate model insights into scalable governance strategies and operational workflows.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
- Fast learner who is self-motivated and results-oriented
- Strong logical thinking, with a passion for exploring the root causes of problems and solving them systematically
- Strong content comprehension ability, excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- AI/large model project/internship experience, experience with content products for both consumers and creators, and a strong interest in and frequent use of overseas content products
- Data Skill : Proficiency in SQL and report generation
- Ability of content analysis and data analysis
- Good sense and understanding of ecosystem and content
- Responsible and tenacious, can turn ambiguous problems into clear solutions; long-term value oriented.
