About the team
The Data Infrastructure & Business Insights (DIBI) team belongs to the Trust & Safety's Automation & Business Insights (ABI) department. We specialize in defining operational metrics, building scalable data infrastructure, delivering insights-driven performance reporting, and conducting cross-LoB business analysis. Our ultimate goal is to empower global moderation operations to thrive with quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Responsibilities
1. Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights
2. Design, build, and maintain dashboards and data tables to track key metrics, enabling proactive decision-making
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations
4. Providing ad-hoc analysis and insights to support business decision-making, ensuring safety operations strategies are data-driven and aligned with business priorities
5. Document and present findings to stakeholders to drive actionable outcomes
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Actively enrolled university student
2. Bachelor's degree or above, computer, statistics, mathematics and other related majors are preferred
3. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, with experience in at least one scripting language
4. Familiarity with common data analysis techniques and statistical methods
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets
6. Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
7. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
