We're looking for an enthusiastic and curious intern to join our Governance & Experience team - the kind of person who notices when a number doesn't add up and wants to know why. This internship is designed to give you broad exposure to how we govern the TikTok Shop platform and protect the user experience across a fast-growing and dynamic e-commerce business.
You'll support live projects that shape how buyers experience TikTok Shop - from the moment they place an order to how issues get resolved when something goes wrong. Day to day, that might mean helping with research, digging into data to understand what's driving a trend, or working alongside product, logistics, and operations partners to test and improve how things run. The exact focus will flex with what the team is working on, but your work will feed into real decisions and help improve the experience for buyers at scale.

As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s)
- Currently pursuing a Undergraduate/ Master's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Policy, or a related field
- Strong interest in digital platforms, user experience, or trust & safety.
- Analytical mindset - able to work with data and draw insights.
- Clear communicator - able to summarise findings and collaborate effectively.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualification(s)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) with the ability to drive decisions through data insights.
