Copyright Product Manager - Music Content Solution

About the team:
The TikTok PGC (Professional Generated Content) Music Team is a specialized division within TikTok's global Music Ecosystem, dedicated to curating, licensing, and optimizing high-quality, rights-cleared music experiences for professional creators, brands, and premium content partners in the U.S. market and beyond. Operating at the intersection of music rights, product innovation, and content strategy, our team empowers professional storytelling while safeguarding copyright integrity and driving mutual value for artists, labels, and the TikTok community.

Responsibilities
- Ownership of the product design of the TikTok global rights protection strategy and rights holder content management system. Collect requirements from various business lines and partners, dig out pain points for copyright strategy, propose solutions and design best practices.
- Work closely with R&D, design, BD and operation teams, including launching complex platform features, delivering training to internal clients & rights holder partners, and product iteration.
- Devise applicable metrics and efficiently align stakeholders to achieve objectives.
- Pay continuous attention to the efficiency of each platform module and industry trends, carry out product model innovation and iteration.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, 3+ years of experience in Back-end system design , copyright protection, CRM , content safety, or those with equivalent experience in the content related industry (such as audio, video, literature, etc.) .
- Strong in product planning and system design, have senses to user experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent in communication and project management, able to work under pressure and solve complex problems and independently own projects.
- Data-oriented, logical and self-motivated.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $165120 - $414000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
