Responsibilities

Team Introduction:
The Creator Growth & Development team is responsible for helping creators succeed on TikTok by building scalable education systems that improve content quality, performance, and monetization readiness.

We operate the Creator Academy, TikTok's global education platform and focus on driving measurable improvements in creator output, specifically increasing high-quality content that meets platform standards (PGC: Professionally Generated Content).

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Responsibilities:
Content Quality Systems (PGC)
- Review and QA educational content (videos, articles, decks) against TikTok's content quality standards
- Identify patterns in high- vs low-performing content
- Help refine frameworks that define "high-quality content" on the platform

Data & Insights
- Maintain and analyze dashboards tracking content quality and coverage
- Identify gaps in education content (e.g., storytelling, retention, structure)
- Translate data into clear insights and recommendations

Content Strategy Support
- Support prioritization of Creator Academy content based on creator needs and performance data
- Help shape briefs for new educational content
- Contribute to improving how we teach creators to succeed

Operations & Systems
- Track content production across formats and teams
- Ensure metadata accuracy (tagging, categorization, mapping)
- Support workflows that enable scalable global education
Creator Signal Collection
- Monitor trends, creator pain points, and feedback
- Identify recurring issues in content quality
- Feed insights into future strategy and system improvements
