Our Corporate Communications team's mission is to tell the story of who we are, what we do, and why it matters. We promote and protect the company's interests while enhancing reputation and building trust with creators, partners, investors, and regulators. We work across the company-partnering with leadership, subject matter experts, and other comms functions- to connect dots, amplify positioning and campaigns, mitigate risk, and drive an authentic, positive narrative about who we are. We have an enterprise-wide lens that takes into account developments across the company and multiple stakeholders and audiences.
About the role
We are seeking a highly collaborative and strategic Corporate Communications Manager to join our global team. This role will support our efforts in developing and articulating company-wide narratives, focusing on creating high-impact content and enhancing executive-level communications.
The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller capable of simplifying complex topics into compelling and engaging messages. You will be responsible for understanding intricate parts of the business and connecting those stories meaningfully for a range of diverse, global audiences. This role requires exceptional writing skills, strategic foresight, and the ability to thrive under fast-paced deadlines completing high visibility work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic content, including narratives, speeches, blogs, and messaging for announcements and events.
- Develop and continuously evolve messaging frameworks (e.g., Q&A docs, talking points, holding statements) for proactive and reactive communications.
- Act as an internal consultant to other communications, policy, and marketing teams, ensuring all messaging is consistent with the corporate voice and narrative.
- Lead executive preparation for high-profile speaking engagements, media interviews, and general public presence, developing training materials and providing coaching.
- Implement data storytelling strategies, utilizing data to strengthen communications.
- Ideate and develop creative communications, including infographics, videos, or design elements.
- Maintain a current understanding of the technology landscape, including policy and regulatory, to inform communications.
- Ensure communications are appropriate for our global audience.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting evolving deadlines while upholding a high quality standard.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or politics.
- Proven expertise in strategic writing and content development. Experience in journalism is a significant asset.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex technology topics in a clear and engaging manner.
- Experience in preparing executives for public engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills to work across a large, complex organization.
- Experience with creative approaches to communications, such as developing videos or visual assets like presentations and infographics.
- Familiarity with the policy and regulatory landscape related to the technology industry.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $117334 - $211112 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
