About the role:
The Client Partner role is directly responsible for business development across the Central Asia region, including Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan and other countries of the region. You will identify market opportunities, build strategic client relationships, and help agencies and advertisers achieve meaningful business results on TikTok.
The ideal candidate is a commercially driven, strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape, a passion for client success, and a proven track record in consultative sales. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, driving product adoption and vertical growth strategies in a dynamic, high-potential region.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions tailored to each vertical and client need - helping scale TikTok's value proposition across both regional and global businesses.

Responsibilities:
- Lead Business Development: Grow TikTok's advertising business in Central Asia by identifying opportunities, acquiring new agencies and clients, and expanding relationships with existing partners.
- Own Vertical Strategy: Define and implement go-to-market approaches for key industries such as consumer goods, e-commerce, fintech, education, and services. Create tailored narratives and best practices.
- Build Client Partnerships: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers at brands and agencies. Act as a strategic advisor aligned with their goals and priorities.
- Drive Adoption of TikTok Products: Promote the use of TikTok's ad solutions across creative, measurement, and performance products to deliver impact at scale.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Client Solutions, Creative, Product, Marketing Science, and other teams to ensure smooth campaign execution and continuous optimization.
- Deliver Strategic Reviews: Lead business reviews, analyze campaign data, and identify areas of growth and improvement for partners.
- Represent the Region: Act as the voice of Central Asia within internal teams, sharing market insights, client feedback, and success stories to inform product and strategy roadmaps.
- Lead Initiatives: Drive internal and external programs and activations to support vertical growth and product targets.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven professional experience in digital sales, client services, or account management at an advertising platform, media agency, or tech company.
- Proven track record in business development, with experience owning revenue targets and client relationships.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, media strategy, and performance metrics.
- Analytical mindset and experience in using data to inform business decisions.
- Native or fluent in Russian and English. Knowledge of Kazakh, or/and Azerbaijani is a plus.
- Ability to travel across the Central Asia region.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working across emerging markets or fast-growing regions.
- Familiarity with vertical-based sales strategies (e.g. fintech, e-commerce, digital services).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to influence internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-changing environment.
