The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (GBS) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of sales team are as follows:
- Lead the integration of the TikTok's solutions and services into the strategy of the Japan's largest advertisers. Define and own account plans to unlock investments and drive client's business key performance metrics.

- Understand long-term business objectives/KPIs to align TikTok strategy and negotiate complex business opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional partners to structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives - developing account plans, synthesizing market related data, leading client analysis and defining the overall business approach to success.
- Prospect and penetrate organizations to drive alignment and influence executive and day-to-day contacts to execute against account plan.
- Collaborate with measurement partners to create learning agendas to help clients measure the impact of marketing and adopt measurement solutions.
- Own forecasting and accurate client analysis to support team planning.
- Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studies across TikTok solutions.
- Use information and knowledge that we have and pitch to our clients
- Provide account management and open up new accounts of our advertisers and advertisement agencies in Japan
- Grow our business through collaboration with internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Japanese and English professional proficiency is required
- Understanding of digital marketing and being able to strategically approach advertisers and advertisement agencies
- Team-worker who can collaborate well with other functions and other regions
- Able to enjoy the rapidly changing environment
