Category Strategist Intern (FMCG) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

Responsibilities

The FMCG Category Team is responsible for managing fast-moving consumer goods-including Food & Beverage, Personal Care, Household, Health, and more. We work across multiple functions (marketing, content, creator, product, logistics) to build a seamless, engaging shopping experience for both buyers and sellers.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in from Oct 2025 onwards. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Watch your ambitions become reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.

Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. The application limit is applicable to TikTok and its affiliates' jobs globally.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period.

- Support in growing revenue in FMCG category which includes but not limited to program adoption, data analysis and insights summarizing
- Comprehensive understanding for revenue & budget operation
- Support in other general ad hoc projects

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s)
- Good Excel knowledge (Vlookup, Sumif, Pivot table, etc.)
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Business or a related technical discipline.
- Good analytical thinker - Comfortable with data processing.
- An outstanding appreciation for accuracy of information and clean, perfect formatting.
- Highly motivated to learn about social commerce, enthusiastic and shows initiative.

Preferred Qualification(s)
- Collaborative and open to changes and challenges.
- Straightforward, clear communication.
- Good ownership of the project.
