The TikTok Shop US operation team aims to deliver high quality products together with a unique customer experience via TikTok. The team is responsible for building the TikTok E-commerce partnership for the TikTok e-commerce business in the US. With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and better e-commerce experience to our users. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Responsibilities:
Market Research & Insights
- Continuously monitor and synthesize U.S. market intelligence, including consumer demographics, shopping behaviors, category trends, and evolving style preferences.
- Conduct research and data analysis across leading e-commerce platforms, DTC brands, and offline retail channels to identify shifts in consumer demand and emerging market opportunities.
- Deliver category-level market analyses and actionable insights to support business growth, uncover localized assortment opportunities, and inform merchandising strategies.
Campaign Performance Analysis
- Independently conduct post-campaign performance reviews by analyzing key business and marketing metrics against predefined objectives.
- Translate data findings into actionable recommendations and optimization strategies to improve future campaign planning and execution.
Campaign Execution & Operations
- Support the planning and execution of platform-wide mega campaigns (A/S/SS), industry initiatives, and IP-driven projects.
- Independently manage assigned workstreams in accordance with established SOPs, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality campaign launches through effective cross-functional collaboration.
Process Optimization & SOP Development
- Document execution learnings, best practices, and operational insights following campaign completion.
- Contribute to the continuous refinement of SOPs and operational processes, driving greater scalability, efficiency, and organizational knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen, with a solid understanding of key e-commerce metrics such as GMV, conversion rate, UV, and average order value (AOV). Ability to leverage data to identify market dynamics, emerging trends, and growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to learn quickly, execute effectively, and drive projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Fluent in English as a working language.
- Strong visual sensibility and marketing intuition, with the ability to critically evaluate creative content, advertising, and brand communications.
- Available to intern full-time (5 days per week) for a minimum of 4 consecutive months.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven working experience in platform marketing, campaign operations, performance marketing, e-commerce, or related fields is preferred.
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL. Experience in independently extracting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data is a strong plus.
- A strong preference for candidates familiar with the U.S. market.
- Candidates with backgrounds in Statistics, Data Analytics, Marketing, E-commerce, Business, or related fields are preferred.
