TikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators - all within TikTok to build a one-stop, seamless shopping experience and bringing more commerce solutions that further enable our community to discover and engage with what they love.
The Home & Living team BD team is responsible for identifying, acquiring and growing emerging merchants as well as creating long-term strategies to develop existing businesses on TikTok Shop. The team manages hundreds of accounts across various verticals: kitchenware, home decor & supplies, furnishing, sports & outdoors, toys & hobbies etc.
The team is seeking a Business Acquisition and Incubation Intern who is responsible for identifying and onboarding key e-commerce brands/retailers/merchants and providing them with development strategies, educational support and other resources to gain success on TikTok Shop.
Responsibilities
- Lead qualification; Identify relevant sellers for onboarding based on lead lists and own industry research, support merchant acquisition and - once onboarded - first product listings and sales.
- Support outreach activities through email campaigns and calls to book meetings.
- Collaborate with account managers to analyse the category growth opportunities of merchants through data analysis, and continuously improve the operational capabilities and output of merchants on the platform.
- Follow up on product selection and submission for key special campaigns and promotional activities, as well as the tracking and analysis of the post campaign performance

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently studying a Bachelor's degree or above, graduating after Summer 2026.
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
- Understanding of TikTok and TikTok Shop from a customer perspective/in-app experience
- Experience working with Excel and delivering actionable insights
- Data-driven, strong execution with attention to detail, good communication, collaborative, and good time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
- Work experience (in E-Commerce), ideally in account management
- Strong understanding of content, especially TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other content-driven platforms.
- Data-driven, strong execution with attention to detail, good communication, collaborative, and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Super self-driven, able to work under pressure and enjoy building things from scratch
