Team Introduction
The LIVE Operations team is obsessed with everything to do with TikTok LIVE. From content strategy, monetization, gifting, LIVE features, data analysis, creating campaigns and ensuring a fun and safe space for all of our LIVE users.
We are looking for passionate and talented people to join the LIVE Operations team and support in our mission to inspire creativity and bring joy.

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building and iterating a full-funnel KPI framework covering supply, viewership, conversion, retention, and revenue. Define North Star metrics and supporting process metrics, and establish monitoring mechanisms.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of core livestream metrics, with the ability to perform multi-dimensional breakdowns and drill-downs to identify root causes. Generate actionable insights and optimization recommendations, drive iteration, decompose annual/quarterly budgets and targets, participate in performance tracking, and build efficient dashboards and automated reporting systems to improve management efficiency.
- Design and evaluate end-to-end A/B testing frameworks. Apply causal inference methodologies to construct unbiased metrics, measure incremental impact from algorithm strategies, product features, or operational initiatives, and avoid common statistical pitfalls.
- Participate in identifying growth opportunities within the livestream ecosystem. Leverage data mining to uncover risks and opportunities, balance monetization and user experience, and explore new growth drivers across dimensions such as watch time, interaction, and retention.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree or above in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Proficient in SQL, and at least one data analysis language (Python or R); capable of independently handling data cleaning, modeling, and visualization.
- Strong understanding of statistical principles, including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and regression analysis; solid grasp of A/B testing frameworks and common pitfalls.
- Structured thinking, strong business acumen, excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for tackling challenges.
