AI Agent Engineer - User Growth
Responsibilities
The TikTok User Growth team is central to the strategic acquisition, engagement, and expansion of TikTok's global user base, numbering in the billions. Our mandate encompasses driving significant user inflow through both paid and organic channels worldwide, meticulously optimizing new user conversion pathways to maximize retention, streamlining user outreach mechanisms to foster greater activity, and strategically utilizing independent platforms (e.g., TikTok Lite, TikTok Pro, Web) to capture distinct user segments. These comprehensive approaches are designed to achieve accelerated growth in TikTok's overall DAU. Typical Growth projects including AI-Generated Content (AIGC).creative generating, Search Engine Optimizing of Organic acquisition, Intelligent Ads delivery, etc.
1. Develop backend systems for TikTok user growth, supporting high-concurrency and complex business scenarios
2. Work closely with Product Managers, Frontend, and Data teams to deliver end-to-end growth solutions
3. Contribute to core growth capabilities such as user behavior analytics, A/B experimentation, and real-time decision systems
4. Explore and implement AI applications in growth use cases (e.g., intelligent strategies, automated analysis, AI agent systems)
5. Possess a certain level of full-stack capability, and be able to contribute to frontend or end-to-end development when needed to improve iteration efficiency
6. Drive technical excellence within the team, including architecture optimization, engineering productivity, and technical influence

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Proficient in Go with 3+ years of experience; strong understanding of concurrency and performance optimization; capable of building highly available distributed systems for high-throughput scenarios
2. Solid data engineering skills, familiar with data modeling and ETL processes; experienced with MySQL, Redis, Kafka, and building efficient data pipelines
3. Understanding of user growth domains, with experience in areas such as event tracking, A/B testing, and user behavior analysis; able to ensure data accuracy and real-time processing
4. Familiar with distributed systems and microservices architecture; strong troubleshooting and system optimization skills
Preferred Qualification:
1. Good team communication and collaboration skills.
2. Some full-stack development experience (e.g., web frontend, Node.js, prototyping) is a plus
3. Experience with AI agents or strong interest in AI applications (e.g., LLMs, RAG, automation) is preferred.
