Responsibilities
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science. At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (GBS) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time.
The Growth Agency Team Lead manages a group of Agency Partner Managers who oversee top-tier advertising agencies. This role is accountable for revenue growth, scalable program execution, cross-functional alignment, and developing a high-performing team. The Lead is responsible for turning agency partnerships into sustainable, repeatable, and measurable business growth.

Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead a team of Agency Partner Managers with clear revenue goals, account portfolios, and quarterly KPIs.
- Provide structured coaching on sales strategy, pipeline building, account planning, negotiation, client presentation, and cross-functional alignment.
- Conduct weekly 1:1s, deal reviews, and performance assessments to ensure target achievement.
- Build a high-performance culture rooted in data-driven decision-making and ownership.
2. Agency Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Own the business development strategy for a portfolio of Top 30 enterprise agencies.
- Develop annual and quarterly business plans with agency executives to drive shared revenue targets.
- Identify growth pockets by industry, product, and ad format, and convert them into repeatable playbooks.
- Drive joint pipeline creation, co-selling frameworks, and training programs to maximize client acquisition and retention.
3. Scalable Programs & Enablement
- Design and operationalize scalable enablement programs including workshops, academy sessions, cross-border initiatives, and creative acceleration tracks.
- Define success metrics, track adoption, and optimize program performance across agency partners.
- Work with Marketing and Product teams to translate agency needs into scalable playbooks, learning paths, and templates.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Vertical Sales, Marketing Science, Creative Labs, Product, Training, and Operations to remove blockers and unlock growth.
- Lead cross-functional projects such as new product activation, creative supply expansion, incentive utilization, and measurement adoption.
- Consolidate agency-side feedback and influence product and go-to-market roadmap.
5. Data-Driven Insights & Performance Improvement
- Analyze agency and advertiser performance to identify trends, best practices, and performance gaps.
- Guide the team on using data tools to derive insights and develop actionable plans.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on underperforming portfolios and build remediation plans.
6. Process, Tooling, and Operational Excellence
- Identify inefficiencies in agency workflows and propose scalable solutions through tooling, automation, or operational redesign.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives including pipeline inspection, SOP creation, and reporting automation.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, forecast accuracy, and high-quality documentation.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience in digital media, digital ad agencies, ad tech companies, etc. on digital platforms and integrated ad agencies
- Understand specifications and placement algorithms of multiple advertising media
- Ability to negotiate tenaciously and propose solutions from the customer's perspective
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional colaboration skills
- Japanese fluency level or above
