Actor Operation Manager - TikTok Short Drama

About the Team:
The Short Drama Team is a dynamic and forward-thinking team under TikTok. We are dedicated to curating, producing, and localizing high-quality short dramas that resonate with diverse global audiences. Our core mission is to bridge cultural gaps through engaging storytelling, bringing authentic and entertaining short drama content to TikTok users worldwide while empowering creators and driving the growth of the short drama ecosystem on the platform.

Responsibilities:
- By leveraging efficient and accurate identification and assessment of actors, as well as a solid understanding of script characters, match suitable trending short drama actors for productions and scout emerging talent.
- Develop a robust actor development system, and formulate plans for actors in terms of acting skill enhancement, account operation, and commercial collaboration coordination.
- Based on in-depth insights into actors and scripts, collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to ensure the smooth execution and delivery of key projects.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s):
- Possess over 3 years of relevant experience in fields such as actor management, influencer operations, celebrity brokerage, or MCN agencies.
- Have a sound understanding of short dramas, and serve as an effective communication bridge between actors, directors and producers.

Preferred Qualification(s):
- Demonstrate strong actor service awareness; candidates with familiarity in short drama content or short drama actor management will be given priority.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $83600 - $192534 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
