About The Team
The Search and Interaction Safety Operations team will assume a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of TikTok's search and interaction, implementing operational processes, and overseeing day-to-day activities. By proactively addressing safety concerns and enhancing operational efficiency, the team will significantly contribute to TikTok's mission of providing a safe, smooth, and enjoyable search experience for users worldwide.

Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of 20-50 Evaluator Quality Analysts dedicated to monitoring and analyzing Search & Interaction-related projects, content moderation, labeling, and quality assurance (QA).
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for Quality Analyst to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge for effective performance.
- Oversee the end-to-end moderation quality process, establish procedures for identifying and managing escalated issues requiring further review, and drive improvements in evaluation and quality processes.
- Conduct regular evaluations, provide ongoing feedback and coaching, and handle underperformance with structured support plans.
- Work with global and cross-functional teams to address process gaps, align strategies, and contribute to the optimization of evaluation, moderation, and quality performance.
- Provide detailed weekly and monthly reports on evaluation outcomes to stakeholders, delivering actionable insights on content quality and emerging trends.
- Represent APAC interests in global content quality discussions, ensuring regional nuances are respected while aligning with global best practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience managing diverse teams in content moderation, labeling, and QA, including overseeing performance reviews and handling personnel management such as addressing underperformance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- In-depth understanding of TikTok's content policies and community guidelines.
- Proven experience in content moderation, content analysis, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and lead a team to deliver high-quality results.
- Strong data analysis skills, with an ability to leverage data for performance assessment and quality improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using moderation tools and content management systems.
- Excellent content analysis and communication skills. Data analysis skills will be preferred.
