Thomson Reuters is looking for an experienced leader to manage our Indirect Tax (IDT) Consulting Delivery team. You'll lead a group of consultants to deliver high-quality implementations and ongoing services for corporate clients, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure profitable, efficient delivery across a global services model.

Please note this is a hybrid role from our office in Gdańsk, Poland (3 days a week in the office). Approximately 10% global travel may be required.

About the Role:

As a Manager, Professional Services, you will:

  • Lead and develop a team of IDT consultants; provide coaching, feedback, and career development.
  • Own day-to-day delivery performance: utilization, revenue, and margin for the IDT consulting organization.
  • Participate in the IDT Service Delivery Leadership Team to ensure seamless customer experiences across the end-to-end journey.
  • Support staffing strategy and effective execution of a global services model, including subcontractor engagement and oversight.
  • Drive outstanding customer outcomes through strong relationships, escalation management, and proactive satisfaction improvements.
  • Partner with Sales on SOW scoping, solutioning, and backlog growth.
  • Build, maintain, and operationalize delivery offerings, service levels, processes, and pricing standards.
  • Ensure team adherence to technical policies and consistent application of best practices, documentation standards, and quality controls.
  • Approve overtime and compensation matters for direct reports; mentor emerging leaders.
  • Lead selected strategic projects and contribute to long-term departmental planning and priorities.
  • Coordinate smooth transitions from project delivery to Customer Support for go-live and post-implementation phases.
  • Direct the resolution of complex or unusual delivery issues.

  • Achievement of financial targets (e.g., services revenue, margin) for IDT Professional Services.
  • Team growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Continuous improvement in customer experience metrics (e.g., NPS, churn/retention).
  • On-time, high-quality handoffs to Customer Support post go-live.

About You:

As our Manager, Professional Services, you are likely to have:

  • 7+ years' experience with enterprise software systems.
  • 5+ years of implementation/project delivery experience; proven record delivering to scope, schedule, and budget across varied complexity.
  • People management experience; ability to lead teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong customer leadership: relationship-building, escalation management, conflict resolution, and win‑win problem solving.
  • Expertise with remote delivery and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
  • Solid understanding of operating systems, networking technologies, and security standards as they relate to enterprise software delivery.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and operate autonomously in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or MBA preferred.
  • Indirect Tax domain knowledge highly preferred.
  • Experience managing or working within subcontractor/partner delivery models.
  • Familiarity with internal PS operations (e.g., utilization management, pricing standards, services catalog).
  • Knowledge of relevant markets and internal systems/processes for professional services.
