Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY

The Senior Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for maximising the TJX Australia human resource potential and impact business profitability through execution, facilitation and delivery of talent development strategies and programs across the business. With primary focus to enable all TJX Australia functions to achieve their talent objectives, the Senior Learning & Development Specialist will collaborate with management on human resource initiatives that help to develop and retain the most talented Associates.

POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the implementation of global Talent Management strategies
  • Deliver training, facilitation and coaching services
  • Coordinate the delivery of learning by external resources.
  • Design, develop learning materials/documentation
  • Serve as a Learning Management System (LMS) administrator
  • Monitor and evaluate delivery of learning programs
  • Collaborate to develop, deliver and facilitate learning solutions improving individual and organisational performance
  • Review, evaluate and develop an annual learning and development plan
  • Administer and interpret individual and team assessment and diagnostic instruments
  • Support performance management processes to include performance evaluations, performance development plans and performance improvement plans
  • Support change management strategies
  • Support stakeholders implement effective talent management and succession planning strategies
  • Prepare and implement coaching, mentoring and accelerated programs to support Associate development and the achievement of Individual Development Plans
  • Perform special projects as assigned
  • Manage budget process for assigned programs and adhere to expense policy and processes

IDEAL EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor's degree in adult education, education or IO psychology, organisational development, human resources or a related field
  • 3-5 years professional HR experience in talent management, professional development, learning & development, executive development or another related field
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching and consulting skills
  • Experience in all aspects of Training including: discovering needs, developing materials and resources, facilitation, evaluation and continues improvement
  • Strong ethics and integrity
  • Ability to build relationships locally and with global partners, and within all levels of an organisation
  • Passion, self-motivated, driven and an urgency to deliver business results
  • Demonstrates deep listening, inquiry, and curiosity
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Must be able to travel interstate
