The Global Stores and Supply Chain Solution Delivery organization is responsible for delivering technology solutions to drive growth, enable efficiency, and improve customer experience at the front-line in our stores and managing various supply chain related solutions within TJX IT.

The Data & Analytics function thrives on strong relationships with our business partners and working diligently to address their needs, which support TJX growth and operational stability. What you'll do
The Global Supply Chain - Logistics Team is responsible for managing various supply chain logistics related solutions within TJX IT. The organization delivers capabilities that enrich the customer experience and provide business value. We seek a motivated, talented Staff Engineer with good understanding of cloud base, database and BI concepts to help architect enterprise reporting solutions across global buying, planning and allocations.
What you'll need
The Global Supply Chain - Logistics Team thrives on strong relationships with our business partners and working diligently to address their needs which supports TJX growth and operational stability. On this tightly knit and fast-paced solution delivery team you will be constantly challenged to stretch and think outside the box.
You will be working with product teams, architecture and business partners to strategically plan and deliver the product features by connecting the technical and business worlds. You will need to break down complex problems into steps that drive product development while keeping product quality and security as the priority. You will be responsible for most architecture, design and technical decisions within assigned scope.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset / training / work experience in relevant technical domain
- 10+ years of strong development experience with medium to large bespoke developed analytics and data warehouse solutions while working in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) environment
- Leads discussions on design approaches to solving visible, strategic and complex business problems.
- Identifies emerging technologies for consideration for new technology direction and implements proof of concepts to prove the new technology.
- Maintains broad knowledge in the business applications / services that comprise a given technical domain.
- Provides technical subject matter expertise and insight related to the business applications in a given technical domain.
- Acts in Lead Engineer capacity for medium to large initiatives, prioritizing and assigning tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues.
- Design, code, test, deploy & support working software /technology component, working collaboratively with architects and other engineers.
- Fully Owns Epics with decreasing guidance. Takes initiative through identifying gaps and opportunities
- Demonstrated leadership in the fields of Data/Software engineering, or data science.
- Hands-on experience in coding/configuring medium to large scale data integrations end to end whilst maintaining good understanding of Coding standards, Performance tuning and database concepts
- Strong communication and influence skills. Solid team leadership with mentorship skills
- Ability to understand the work environment and competing priorities in conjunction with developing/meeting project goals
- Shows a positive, open-minded and can-do attitude
Experience in the following technologies:
- ETL solutions Azure Data Factory or Talend, on prem or Cloud.
- Reporting solutions using Power BI
- Strong PL/SQL experiencepreferably in Snowflake, MS SQL Server database.
- Working knowledge with source control, preferably GitHub.
- Proficient in Shell Scripting.
- Experience in RHEL(Linux) and Windows platform.
- Experience with any scheduling tool.
Nice To Have
- Programing languages like C#, .Net, Spark, Python, PySpark.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Service NOW.
- Knowledge of IT Security & Compliance
- ADLS (Azure Data Lake Storage)
