Position Title: Senior Staff Engineer (Req # 9519469)
Job Description:
Develop new features and services that are medium-high level of complexity working with the product/platform/infrastructure/security team. Design, code, test, deploy and support working software /technology component, working collaboratively with architects and other engineers. Build systems and services that have immediate impact for our business. Create Threat Model, Architecture, Estimates, Design, Code, COTS configuration for the required business feature. Responsible for code analysis, debugging review and execution of unit/integration tests. Responsible for delivering clean, secure, performant code /technology component that meets all the non-functional requirements. Create test automation scripts. Responsible for achieving operational excellence as part of delivering feature. Serve in Lead Engineer capacity for medium to large initiatives, prioritizing and assigning tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues. Set up application jobs, creates test data, and supports deployment, all at a medium to high level of complexity. Lead discussions on design approaches to solving visible, strategic and complex business problems. Own Epics with decreasing guidance. Take initiative through identifying gaps and opportunities. Position is fixed location based in Marlborough, MA office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.

Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any field) or a directly related field plus seven (7) years of engineering experience in Java, SQL, and Oracle technologies. Experience must include:
Seven (7) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Experience across various programming languages (Java, C#, and Flutter), scripting languages (JavaScript and PowerShell), and database query languages (SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL), enabling versatile solution development across platforms and environments.
- Experience in Java Framework (Spring & Hibernate) and tools (Maven and Jenkins)
- Experience in RestfulAPIs and microservice architecture.
- Experience in computer algorithms and programming, with experience in implementing efficient and scalable solutions.
- Experience on Azure Infrastructure.
- Software design and architecture, with experience in designing modular, maintainable, and high-performance systems.
- Experience in DevSecOps practices, including secure CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience in security best practices and principles, ensuring secure application development and deployment.
- Experience in end-to-end architecture patterns, enabling the design of cohesive and scalable enterprise solutions.
- Experience in end-to-end business application processes within the retail technology domain, specifically how enterprise systems (Oracle Xstore & MOM) integrate with broader business workflows to support store operations, inventory management, and customer engagement.
- Experience in incident and change management principles and best practices.
- Ability to work with JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with AppDynamics and APM tools for performance monitoring.
- Experience with Splunk for log analysis, configuration, building report, and proactive monitoring alerts.
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary: $179,000.00 - $184,000.00/year.
