Expanding TJX's presence in India will bring knowledge and expertise, local leadership and decision making, enabling us to deliver the right work, at the right time, in the right way.

We are seeking a highly skilled, goal-oriented Senior Engineer with an Engineering mindset to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, configuring, and implementing integration and reporting solutions in SaaS-based applications primarily in Corporate Performance Management (CPM).

This role will work closely with Finance business stakeholders and third-party vendors to implement new business capabilities and enhance existing business solutions.

Responsibilities:

CPM Engineering & Platform Ownership

  • Design, implement, and support CPM platforms (e.g., OneStream, IBM Planning Analytics, Hyperion, Anaplan, or equivalent), with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.

  • Own technical design decisions related to CPM architecture, data models, and downstream consumption.

  • Partner with finance stakeholders to translate business planning, forecasting, and reporting needs into sound engineering solutions.

Integration Design & Execution

  • Design and build robust integrations between Finance platforms/applications and upstream/downstream systems (ERP, data warehouses, reporting tools, source systems).

  • Apply standard integration patterns (APIs, file‑based and event‑driven) with proper error handling, reconciliation, and observability.

  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex integration, data, and performance issues across environments.

Engineering Mindset & Practices

  • Apply engineering best practices including code quality, testing, automation, version control, documentation, and peer reviews.

  • Drive nonfunctional requirements (performance, reliability, security, maintainability) as first-class concerns.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve system health, automation, and operational efficiency.

  • Take end-to-end ownership - from design through build, test, deployment, and production support.

  • Experience aligning testing activities with SOX and audit requirements, ensuring appropriate coverage, controls validation, and audit-ready evidence

  • Create Architecture, Estimates, Design, Code, COTS configuration for the required business feature

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner closely with product owners, finance SMEs, architects, and platform teams to deliver outcomes, not just features.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, raising overall engineering maturity.

  • Contribute meaningfully to design reviews, architectural discussions, and roadmap planning.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with CPM platforms (OneStream, IBM Planning Analytics, or similar preferred).

  • Proven enterprise integration experience, including designing and supporting complex data flows.

  • Demonstrated engineering mindset - not just configuration or tool usage.

  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with multiple dependencies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical partners.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

  • Familiarity with DevOps / CI‑CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code, or platform engineering concepts.

  • Prior experience in retail or finance domains.

  • Exposure to vendor coordination and SOW based delivery models.

  • Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, or close processes beyond technical implementation.

  • Coaching or informal people leadership experience

In addition to our open door policy and supportive work environment, we also strive to provide a competitive salary and benefits package.
