What you will do

The Distribution Engineering server team at TJX plays a critical role in supporting our global operations by ensuring seamless deployment, configuration, and management of compute solutions. As a Senior Engineer, you will lead efforts to support and optimize Windows-based environments and enterprise application deployments across our supply chain network. You'll serve as a technical expert, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement across infrastructure and application support processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead support and maintenance of Windows environments across multiple supply chain locations

Oversee installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of enterprise applications

Drive application deployment strategies, patching schedules, and upgrade planning

Monitor system and application performance, leveraging analytics to identify trends and prevent issues

Drive Windows lifecycle management including imaging, automation, and decommissioning

What You will Need (Minimum Qualifications)

5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows operating system administration and enterprise application support

Proven track record in leading infrastructure projects and cross-functional initiatives

Advanced troubleshooting skills across Windows platforms, applications, and print services

Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell)

Strong understanding of application deployment methodologies and lifecycle management

Excellent communication and leadership skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field

Experience with VMware, vSphere, and hybrid infrastructure environments

Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise service management tools

Exposure to enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent
