Senior Business Analyst-New York Buying Office
The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career.
The Senior Business Analyst will lead the development and maintenance of reporting systems and dashboards to provide actionable insights for NYBO senior leadership and global partners. This role will manage budgeting processes, financial planning, and operational efficiency initiatives while supporting strategic decision-making across merchandising and compliance functions. Additionally, the analyst will serve as a subject matter expert in reporting tools, drive special projects, and deliver comprehensive performance recaps to optimize business outcomes.
Who We Are Looking For: You.
- Reporting & Process Creation and Maintenance
- Build and implement reporting processes/systems for NYBO senior leadership group
- Produce total NYBO Office & Company Dashboards to highlight key business performance
- Partner with Financial Analyst and counterparts in Europe, Canada and Australia to build appropriate reporting to support Merchants to drive profitable sales
- Build and maintain templates and recapping tools to assist with market preparation
- NYBO Quarterly vendor performance
- Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly selling recaps
- Top performing brand recaps
- New vendors opened tracker
- Partner with Operations to support reporting for Compliance, Logistics, and Product Specialists
- Build and maintain Operational Efficiency recapping
- Develop Recapping for Competitive landscape, Stock Performance recapping
- Budget & Planning Management
- Assist in managing NYBO budget and financials for NYBO
- Manage and recap NYBO travel and expense budgets vs plan
- Assist in 5-year planning/strategy process with Merchants
- Partner with MMs and VPs on Annual Big Rocks creation and management of plans
- Training & Development
- Upskill self to lead office as SME in all systems used by international divisions ie: Power BI
- Manage and implement special projects and assignments as needed
- Attend market/vendor appointments and store visits quarterly

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- 3+ years experience in an analytic role (business, planning and allocation, etc)
- Technical competency in advanced finance and business analytical skills
- Strong written/oral communication skills
- Ability to use PC and Financial software and financial models
- Proven ability to build effective relationships in a collaborative environment
- Project Management Experience and proven ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize workload
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Power Point, Word, Power BI, and advanced MS Excel
- Previous experience working in international divisions a plus
This position is hybrid requiring two days per week in the New York City office and is not open to remote.

This position has a starting salary range of $83,100.00 to $106,000.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive.
