We're looking for a Samples Coordinator who excels at organization and enjoys keeping fast‑moving operational workflows on track. In this role, you'll manage sample intake, movement, and meeting setups while partnering with merchants and cross‑functional teams. You'll gain hands‑on experience through merchandising operations and marketing preparation, all while contributing to a dynamic, collaborative environment. What You'll Do:
- Execute established sample intake processes, ensuring timely and accurate receipt, and placement of samples into departmental storage areas.
- Ensure sample areas remain organized, safe, and compliant with TJX health and safety standards, taking guidance from the Support Administrator on prioritization.
- Collaborate with the Support Administrator to proactively identify when sample spaces reach capacity and purges are required for space for newness.
- Execute the movement of samples to meeting spaces for style outs, vision/strategy meetings, walk‑throughs, and special events (typically 8 to 12 occurrences per year per department).
- Complete room setup for merchant spaces, including fixtures and displays, and reset areas post‑meeting; return or ship samples as needed.
- Coordinate with Merchants and MAs to identify quarterly marketing samples and ensure samples are prepared, labelled, and organized for marketing selection.
- Provide timely, professional communication to merchants, senior merchant teams, and cross‑functional business partners.
- Partner with the Corporate Responsibility department to coordinate donation of purged samples and appropriate hand‑off.
About You:
- Minimum one (1) year merchandising, retail administration/coordinator experience preferably within retail and our corporate environment
- Post-secondary education in retail operations, administration or related field considered an asset
- Demonstrated written, verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, bilingualism an asset
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to influence business partners to help prioritize activities and resources to meet the organization needs, build rapport and credibility to be a trusted advisor, including strong listening, and information gathering skills
- Developing analytical and critical thinking skills to provide solutions; ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment to make effective decisions
- Good problem-solving skills including analysis of information to effectively resolve issues and implement solutions for communication platforms
- Detail-oriented, creative, and highly organized
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Salary Range: $43,117.50-$60,364.50 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
