The Opportunity: Senior HRBP - Republic of Ireland, NI & Scotland

12 Month Secondment - The closing date for applications is May 11th 2026

The Retail Senior HR Business Partner partners closely with the Regional Operations Director for TK Maxx & Homesense. You will significantly influence and deliver the regional and/or functional business strategy to ensure delivery of the business KPI's. Accountable for building leadership capabilities and driving the Talent agenda to meet the future business growth plans.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Act as a strategic commercial HR partner to the Retail Operations Director, aligning people strategies with business goals and priorities.
  • Partner closely with retail operations leadership to anticipate talent needs, through effective talent planning with the focus on driving a high-performance culture.
  • Champion talent development as a business priority, building robust succession plans, identifying high‑potential talent, and driving career pathways to strengthen internal capability and retention.
  • Foster a culture of development and coaching at all levels, including trusted advisory support and individual coaching for the Retail operations director.
  • Partner with Reward to support the annual yearly cycles including pay review, providing local market insight and business context.
  • Partner with ER to oversee HR policies, procedures to support operational excellence while mitigating risk and driving engagement, understanding legislation for UK&I.
  • Ensure all people practices are fully compliant with employment legislation and regulatory requirements, partnering with ER and legal as needed.
  • Support the retail leadership team with TJX performance management processes, embedding a culture of accountability, continuous feedback, and high performance.
  • Promote an inclusive, high‑engagement culture aligning to the business leadership competencies and cultural factors.
  • Use Workday & Power BI to analyse people data and insights (turnover, engagement, performance, succession readiness) to influence decisions, improve outcomes, and demonstrate HR's commercial impact.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Extensive HR Management experience partnering with a team of other HR professionals
  • Proven experience working as an HR Business Partner with direct exposure to multiple HR subject areas
  • Mobile across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland with occasional travel across Europe.
  • Achieved level of PHR or SPHR is preferred
  • A passion for developing, coaching, and mentoring business leaders, both inside and outside of HR
  • Demonstrable experience influencing business leaders and impacting the operation as a trusted business partner
  • You must have the legal right to work in the country you are applying to.
